I'm sorry this story is bonkers but if you actually read it skeptically it's difficult not to come to the conclusion that if she had simply said no when he asked and then divorced him when he brought it up again nothing further would have happened.
Have you been a victim of Swinging? The site, Fabswingers, which has more page views than any other swinging website, and claims to have 600,000 active monthly members, told us consent was the foundation of swinging.
Separately, police forces across the UK have told us the site has been mentioned in hundreds of recent crime reports.
The BBC submitted Freedom of Information requests to all 45 police forces in the UK, asking for crime reports since the beginning of 2023 in which FabSwingers had been mentioned.
By the end of April 2026, 39 forces had responded - although the Metropolitan Police, the country's largest force, had not.
Their replies identified 329 reports mentioning the site, including allegations of rape, other serious sexual offences, controlling and coercive behaviour, harassment, blackmail, stalking, assault and possession of extreme pornography.
The forces that responded also recorded 26 people as having been charged or summonsed in cases where FabSwingers had been mentioned, with 23 cases ongoing.

I'm not even sure what the proposed solution is to this exactly? make sex outside marriage illegal again? Shift the boundary of controlling and coercive behaviour to where even suggesting something risque with no violence or financial coercion is now illegal?

BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to pay $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly to Iran as part of the deal Pakistan announced, alongside the release of $24 billion in frozen funds with $12 billion released before negotiations even start, per Mehr News.
This directly contradicts Trump's & Vance's claim that no funds will be transferred to Iran at all.
If Trump denies this is true, there never was a deal. If Trump confirms, the US has fully capitulated to Iran's demands.

If I purposely wanted to undermine decarbonisation I would ignore large scale changes that the public are neutral towards and specifically attack comforts that people really notice in their daily lives like a ribeye steak for dinner or a warm floor on a cold morning.

Why can't the governments of the channel islands think for themselves?
