We discussed ways of engaging young people in the ELSA Study, which screens children for type 1 diabetes in our area @elsadiabetes @NIHRresearch

Information on the Study:
Children aged 3-13 can have a simple finger-stick blood test to determine their risk of developing type 1 diabetes in the future.
Currently open to families living in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Today @RCPCHtweets publish our blueprint for transforming child health services in England. #RCPCHBlueprint makes the case for change for child health services.
@RCPCH_and_Us volunteers highlighted that change must be supported by two fundamental principles from the UNCRC.
