Update: the @YoungICTExplore awards ceremony was held via zoom this afternoon, and one of the teams (the grade 5s) got 3rd place for their noise monitor project!
For a few years I've been mentoring the grade 5/6 students at my local East Brisbane State School helping them develop technology projects for the @YoungICTExplore program. I wanted to share a recent experience.

Yes, so true. I have managed to have my students participate in the @YoungICTExplore competition, focused on creating a meaningful solution to a problem they care about using digital tech... I think perhaps I was too optimistic that I could do more! #PrimarySTEMChat
