Raphinha as an interior and Gundo as the pivot... Is Xavi planning to turn Raphinha into his own version of Bernardo, who can play both interior and RW? They do have slightly different skill sets, but both left footed interiors, and extremely hard working off the ball.

I think even bigger issue has been the buildup from back. Iñigo hasn't been at the level of Kounde and Christensen, especially with this being his first start this season, and it's not Araujo's strong suite with her. Need one of Kounde or Christensen to come on in the 2nd half.

The buildup is suffering without FDJ’s presence, need Gundogan more involved. He’s the only one who can compensate.

Lewandowski finally rested! At 35, he needs to do that more often, had been ruthlessly playing every single game for 90 mins in the past 18 months, due to our lack of options. Hopefully Ferran does well tonight so Xavi gets confidence to rest Lewa going forward as well.

Vintage Iniesta-esque pass this... Still too early, but Gavi seems to have improved on his end product this season. 3 goals and an assist already. Imagine if he can add 10 goals 10 assists to his armoury on TOP of everything else he brings to the team... scary talent.
