Trade reports just confirmed something that will divide the entire MCU fanbase.
Tom Holland's Spider-Man is intentionally absent from Avengers Doomsday.
Marvel made this decision deliberately not because of scheduling. Not because of Sony. Because of the story.
Brand New Day ends with a multiversal event that leaves Peter Parker trapped. Unable to reach Earth-616. Unable to join the Avengers when Doom invades.
Marvel Studios is intentionally sidelining Holland's Peter Parker during Doom's initial conquest to keep the focus on a Phase Zero reset saving Spider-Man's massive reality-shattering return for Avengers Secret Wars in December 2027.
Think about what that actually means.
Steve Rogers is back. Wolverine opens the film. The X-Men. The Fantastic Four. Every hero from every corner of the MCU.
And Peter Parker the most beloved Spider-Man in history watches it all happen from wherever Brand New Day leaves him.
Marvel isn't punishing Spider-Man.
They are setting up the greatest MCU return since Tony Stark walked out of that cave.
