However, this raises a bigger question… should Maryland have a State Level Inspector General that will vigilantly hunt down fraud and mismanagement of taxpayer funds? Gov. Moore obviously does not want this, which is why his own office does not do any audits. I feel the General Assembly should step up in the face of year over year budget deficits and embarrassing headlines from state agencies. #maryland

I’m okay. Yuripzy and I are just very very busy with shenanigans. But, while we are otherwise distracted I would have had a lot to say about: 1. A literal 💩 storm over the Potomac. Trump accuses Wes Moore of being incompetent highlighting the glacial pace of rebuilding the destroyed Key Bridge. Moore claps back by saying Trump is ignorant and even more incompetent. I’m over here agreeing with both of them. 🙄 2. Maryland DHS Secretary Lopez resigns over a Snow-diagnosis of a severe case of incompetitus. From foster care disaster to an administrative scandal over SNAP error rates, it’s clear there was no sheriff in town. 🚨 3. Wes Moore proves unequivocally that he’s not running for national office by hosting a nationally televised town hall with softball questions tailored to make him look like a national leader. Then he goes a cable news network tour and continues to stump for candidates in battleground states. 🤷🏾 4. Barack Obama casually discloses that there are aliens on earth, just not incarcerated at Area 51. Trump responds by saying he hasn’t seen any aliens but that Obama was sharing classified information. Hours later Trump casually declassifies government records related to UAPs and extraterrestrials. 🛸 5. Maryland Democrats celebrate the passage of a law completely banning formal cooperation agreements with federal law enforcement agencies. The moves are literally political theatrics with practically no impact on operations except to provoke a notoriously petty administration. Of course, that’s the goal. 6. US House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries pays a godfather like visit to Maryland State Senate President Bill Ferguson to twist his arm to bring partisan gerrymandering to the Maryland Senate floor. President Ferguson stubbornly said thanks, but no thanks. Horse owners better keep a close eye on their horses and President Ferguson better pull back the sheets before crawling into bed. 🐴
