Double Fold PIP Hinge System Two kinds of print in place hinges; one only bends up, the other down. That's what's needed for a flat plate that folds into 4. Solution designed by me in @tinkercad for Dory in HLModTech's (free) Patreon community. tinkercad.com/things/apHkIsl…

FYI, I'm giving up my Post Office Box. I've given that address to a lot of people on here in the past when I was more active in trades, etc.

There's a useful trick in here. By adding a second line to thicken the inside of the vase I was able to eliminate overhangs over 45 degrees, which many printers struggle with. It was either that or make the upper part less rounded, but I was going for the Chinese rice wine shape.

Lattice Vase 1.1 (lattice only) - This is the same as the vase, but only the lattice, so it's technically a basket. It still prints but it won't be as clean as the full walled vase and it actually takes a little longer to print. tinkercad.com/things/glp8S9p…

I'm working on a printable dial and date wheel to replicate James Bond's prop watch in the movie Live and Let Die. The simple simulation runs in @tinkercad, and it's a good example of how to toggle colours in SIM LAB. tinkercad.com/things/01DV3pT…

I wish I could build this into a large format camera. I'd just need to link it to a laser rangefinder to take a reading, and a microprocessor to process that and speak to the focus slider.
