SOURCES: @UHCougarBB is expected to hire @Lamar_Baseball head coach Will Davis as its new head coach, I'm told. Davis spent the last 10 seasons with the Cardinals, and has guided LU to the NCAA tournament this season.

Was told this from my own father 24 years ago… “if you were that good, you’d be getting your door kicked in.” It hurt, he was right. His point, don’t blame your travel team, your hs coach, etc… work harder, play better. Uncommitted 26s, it ain’t the org… look in the mirror.

Expecting an organization to assist in your recruitment… understand it’s a body of work, not just a 2 month window of 6 summer tournaments. If you’re a senior, relationships built matter as much as performance… go show you can do it again in the fall. Everyone can do it once.

If you don’t like your role on your HS team, travel team, college team… play better. Coaches/programs have to balance individual’s goals & the team’s success w/ ALL individual’s goals in mind. By 17/18, if you still don’t grasp this, your time is probably up. #TEAMsports

…and you can transfer from school to school, college to college, hop travel ball teams every year… but if they are all programs of success, you will continually find yourself in the same boat. No coach at any of these levels actively recruit players w/ this type of history…

Loud summer from this guy; the numbers don’t lie. Every event this guy did damage & the competition was tough. Icing on the cake is he’s a real defender at 3B w/ play making ability that can 100% stick left side in college. Amazing person and wants to win. No doubt pick-up…

Both @Harrison_L23 & @EthanRobledo_17 have been pretty much untouchable all summer. Both RHPs w/ FBs that work up to low 9s, but the secondary stuff for both are what make these two big grabs. Both w/ high ceilings but can flat pitch against any lineup right now. #METx
