This week the @pnecommunity held an informative and session on sugar awareness including a hands-on activity exploring the sugar content in everyday foods for our Coffee Afternoon ladies.The session was followed by an exercise activity, promoting healthy lifestyles.

🏐 What an amazing Saturday session! We had an incredible 14 girls attend netball this week, all working hard as they continue to train for our upcoming match. We can’t wait to see them put their skills into action on match day! 💪#netball

One week back in the office and our @prestonlabour council has: ✅️Reopened the tram bridge with 5000 local residents in attendence. ✅️Helped secure £8m to redevelop the Park Hotel - out of use since 2011. ✅️Doubled funding for local community events. ✅️Been kindly acknowledged by Marie Curie for removing Council Tax for terminally ill residents. ✅️Welcomed Preston's Elevate Protection Services, as a real living wage employer, bucking the trend in a traditionally low paid sector. Over the coming weeks and months the pace of change will deepen with further major projects in the pipeline. #PrestonModel
