As we near the end of 2024 we can all surely drop the pretence that the BBC in Scotland is Scotland's national broadcaster. It isn't. It's a tin-pot colonial messaging service employing sock-puppets who'll say whatever it takes to maintain a career in broadcasting.

The treasury is not 'giving' anything. They are returning a portion of Scotland money back whilst implementing policies that will cost an additional 500m.
