Platner's platform has a litany of issues. I don't that care my views are seen as controversial, or "purity testing." I'm tired of us being saddled with, "well, he's kind of an apologetic mercenary and possible war criminal, sort of."
Signing up for Blackwater as a 30-year-old man, to make the bag is not someone I want seated in Congress. Period. I warned about Fetterman.
The bar is in hell, I get that. But the bar is also set by what we are willing to capitulate to.

I keep telling you all that Platner is not, by any definition, a leftist -- just as Fetterman was not. These are horseshoe-theory type libertarians (leaning right) that are a Trojan horse to get more Republican-lite goons in the Senate by manipulating people into thinking they're leftists. Platner is not a leftist. No Blackwater mercenary is ever going to be anti-war.

I’ve started working full-time, outside of journalism, but I’m not stopping work on Bullhorn Bulletin! I was just in a short transition. Next week, I’ll be releasing an article about the debate culture on TikTok in the Palestinian movement, after spending a year and a half in this zeitgeist.
I’m wrapping up another article about how AI is a gaslighting machine.
I’m also working on a deep dive into the 2026 elections and where we need to go from here.
