And it's here! Yet ANOTHER CineMasochist video.
What do ya get when George A. Romero and Dario Argento make some sleazy modern takes on some classic Edgar Allen Poe stories? Somethin' pretty frikken' awesome actually! youtu.be/rRbgISJZ3xM
Watching Diary of a Deadbeat (2015)
The story of Jim Vanbebber, spotlighting his films like Deadbeat at Dawn and The Manson Family, and his short films like Road Kill and My Sweet Satan. I find this documentary really inspiring! Makes me wanna pick up a camera and make something.
Watching Anabolic Life (2017)
a film about a young man's struggle with his self image, so he turns to steroids. This is actually my second time watching this, I quite enjoyed it, it's an excellent commentary on the struggle of pressure in society.

Having a Canadian Ryans double feature with @MetalHeadChic21 ! Both are chick flicks, kinda, Just Friends boarders on raunchy comedy but the spirit is there!
1 Director, 2 completely different films.
Jean Claude Lord directed the sci fi cyborg revenge flick The Vindicator from 1986, and went on to direct Eddie Lives, the underrated sequel to Eddie and the Cruisers!
Watched TULSA TERRORS (2025)
A really great little documentary on the dawn of direct to video market horror films like Blood Cult and Ripper. I've always had a fascination with shot on VHS horror and this documentary delivers!
Watching Deranged (1974)
Loosely based on Ed Gein, we have the story of Ezra Cobb the grave robbing necro maniac that loves his mama, brilliantly played by Roberts Blossom (Home Alone) who totally has a Gein vibe. This came out the same year as Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Watching Blood, Boobs & Beast (2007)
The documentary on one of my favorite cult film makers Don Dohler! Don made ultra low budget genre films like The Alien Factor and Fiend, and they're magical films.
Random TUBI Watch! Dangerous Game (1993)
An Abel Ferrara movie I've never seen before, Harvey Keitel plays a director doing a movie that reflects his own marriage in some ways. It feels sleazy so far!
