Anyone seen anything like this? The central lighter section is anorthosite. The host is apparently gabbro. There's a rim...reaction? or chilled margin? Need to go look at this further. Any ideas about this relationship?

Can someone point me in the direction of the best choice for a diamond saw blade to cut billets for thin sections? Mainly need a smooth cut. It's a 8" diameter with a 5/8" hole.

Thank you. A petrographic company got back to me and suggested : Mk303 and MK415, the 303 is a thinner blade and the 415 seems more of a workhorse.
