Gender equality in agroecology is essential for building inclusive and sustainable food systems. When women and men have equal access to land, resources, knowledge, and leadership opportunities, communities become more resilient to climate change and food insecurity. #FAMS
As heavy rains loom over Zimbabwe, must remember the recent devastating effects of whirlwinds in Mbire. Rural communities, reliant on local resources for housing, are vulnerable in the face of climate change. We must act to protect these communities and their livelihoods.
We are very grateful to be part of the youth inclusive budget consultative conference at the new Parliament of Zimbabwe. This is a very influential space for amplifying the voices of rural youths and young women. #budget@ParliamentZim@zimyouthcouncil

The previous rains in Mhakwe rural community created hope especially for these small holder famers who mainly depend on their small pieces of land for their family consumption. These dry land farmers have learned to diversify crops. #ClimateResilient
At least these rains have restored hope in many families in rural communities that mostly depend on rain water. But thereโs need for climate education and funding especially in these rural communities to adopt agroecology as a measure to adapt to climate change. #agroec
