Gen1 was very iconic, but painfully primitive, the style restricted what i could really do with them, Gen2 was a step in the right direction, but not a big enough one, being really just Gen1
Gen3 is where "the sauce" came in, but it was largely ignored.
And gen 4 doesn't exist.
