I always said react-native-edge-to-edge was meant to disappear one day, once edge-to-edge landed properly in core.
With React Native 0.86 and its many edge-to-edge fixes, that day is here. Just set edgeToEdgeEnabled=true and you're good. 🎉
Edge-to-edge on Android
Comprehensive fixes for Android 15 edge-to-edge mode, including when it's enforced by the OS:
- measureInWindow returns correct coordinates
- KeyboardAvoidingView works with edgeToEdgeEnabled
- Dimensions window values are accurate pre-Android 15
- StatusBar updates work while Modals are open

Couldn't find a React Native library that performs proper text entity detection using native APIs. So we built one.
It uses NSDataDetector on iOS and ML Kit on Android.

Do the right thing, let it play in theaters until every last person has seen it.
Producer Jason Blum doesn’t know how long “Obsession” will play in theaters before landing on digital platforms, but he said it’s a “big topic of conversation at the moment.” Blum adds that he’s a “big believer in a long, consistent theatrical window."
