What if
#IndianArmy officers decide to go on a strike now or cease work! They are the ones who are fighting at the borders to keep the nation safe. They risk their lives to bail out the nation from crisis.
But away from the border two young army officers were assaulted inside the same country they are protecting, fighting for and one of their female friends was gang raped in
#MadhyaPradesh. This has literally happened in the heart of
#India (Madhya Pradesh)
If the cease work of junior doctors in
#Bengal #Kolkata over
#RGKarDoctor rape and murder, demanding safer work space is legitimate then will we offer the same legitimacy to Army and ask them to go on cease work and demand for a safer nation? For our Forces the whole nation is their work place.
Can we afford a nation unguarded? Will we be okay if army and other forces leave their respective responsibilities and take to the streets for protests. Are our Army officers any less important than doctors?
From Army to Doctors; from teachers to students; from a news paper vendor to a common citizen, everyone deserves a safer society and for that we all need to work together. No one ceases to have the fundamental rights if not a
#doctor
We are proud of our Army and our Forces, they will never do anything like this. They will never hold the security of the country hostage while seeking justice, the same country they are willing to die for.
We also respect our doctors but again I say this fight for justice isn’t theirs alone.
