Now imagine @McJuggerNuggets killing his own kid because it might have been an inconvenience. Instead, this is what can happen when your parents actually love you and aren't selfish pieces of shit.
Chris Nikic, the first person with Down syndrome to complete an Ironman, completes Ironman 70.3 Massachusetts. Shortly before the race, Nikic announced that he needed a guide to run alongside him for the race. That's when Dr. Tommy Martin decided to step up. "I learned more in this race than almost any other I have competed in, and none of it was about race tactics or how to PR. It was about life, perspective, determination, and grit. I owe all of that to Chris," Martin said. "I hope every finish line Chris crosses serves as a reminder to the world: your diagnosis, your situation, your circumstances do not define your potential!" Congrats, Chris! So instead they had it dismembered and thrown in a medical waste bin because there was a chance it might have been an inconvenience to them.

Bit of advice, don't buy a @kobo device if you use Overdrive/Libby. You can only connect one library card at a time, making the device basically useless for Overdrive/Libby users. Just get a cheap tablet that can run the Libby app. It's a much better experience.

Aren't you married to the guy who turned the White House into a whore house while cheating on you? Aren't you the woman who attacked the women your husband assaulted while in the White House? Perhaps you could shut up.
This is what Trump's done to the people's house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.

I just made a realization today. Matt Walsh is like the Rand Paul of X. His entire existence revolves around bitching and moaning about things that don't matter while doing absolutely nothing to offer any real or meaningful solutions to anything that does matter.
When I am president I will ban “kindergarten graduations” and impose steep retroactive fines on every school that has had one over the past 20 years

All the new AI bullshit is absolutely ruining Google docs. Stupid popups and icons taking up all the space where I'm trying to work. I don't need AI to write my documents, it should 100% be default turned off.

There are days when a project goes so well you just pat yourself on the back and think, "You know, I'm actually pretty good at what I do."

You'd think someone who makes shows about history would read some primary sources at some point. He was such a great American, he was responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans while in the defense of slavery. Truly inspiring stuff...
I love this story. Stonewall Jackson was a great American.

Just a public service announcement. If you're planning on getting an Elgato Wave XLR Mk.2 do not do it. The device requires the Elgato Wave 3 software which doesn't work. The XLR Mk.2 doesn't work when connected to the software, freezes, hangs up, loses audio and requires constant restarts. @elgato Won't provide you any support when their device doesn't work and then gives you a huge hassle over getting a refund when you want to return their non-working device. Do not get an Elgato Wave XLR Mk.2. It's a giant waste of money.

Yeah, I'm always happy when I can't pay the rent, buy groceries, afford transportation or entertainment. What a stupid, narcissistic comment.

I really don't understand all of the screaming and crying about birthrates. We've never had population levels on earth as high as they are today. I don't worry about overpopulation, it's not a concern at this point. I do wonder though, if the drop in birth rates aren't just a self-correcting cycle though. Won't lowering the population lower many of the costs associated with raising a family? Won't that then naturally cause birth rates to go up? Doesn't it naturally increase birth rates when the self-centered individuals who don't want to have kids fail to reproduce and the people who want kids raise more children in a pro-family culture? Look at most developed countries and the people who aren't having kids there. Are those really the people you want raising another generation? Bunch of self-centered, progressing dip shits?

This might be one of the stupidest things I've ever read. Imagine believing that men can't be paternal before having kids. Then imagine being so arrogant you argue with men telling you you're full of shit.
lots of strange reactions to this game. let’s clear some things up: childless men do not have paternal instincts the way that childless women have maternal instincts (we observe this even in the way little girls play vs. little boys). men first experience paternal instincts once they have their own children - and typically, those paternal instincts are only ever felt for their own children, and no one else’s. men are not nurturers. men don’t gush over cute kids in public. men don’t have baby fever. if a man wants to possess a child for any reason other than it being a product of his own lineage, he is likely a predator. and you’d be taking the feminist/radical gender abolitionist position to protest any of the above points. this should explain why a “dad simulator” game marketed to mostly childless men gives people the creeps.
Community note
Research shows childless men experience broodiness and desire for fatherhood nearly as often as childless women (59% vs. 63%), and men, including non-parents, exhibit innate caregiving and protective responses to infants. menshealthforum.org.uk/men-without-ch… lithub.com/paternal-insti…

So @X I just got a direct death threat. Reported it and of course it was decided nothing was wrong. No opportunity appeal or anything. Death threats are apparently ok on this platform.

Some back story. The person I replied to had been lying about where they lived, pretending to be Japanese when they clearly weren't, using these lies to spread more lies about other countries, and I called them out on it along with a screen shot of his profile showing that he wasn't in Japan but rather in Canada. Some snowflake at X decided pointing out that they were a lying scumbag is "hateful conduct" Let's go through the actual policy and see: 1. Hateful references - This includes, but is not limited to media or text that refers to or depicts: genocides, (e.g., the Holocaust); lynchings. Nope, didn't do that. 2. Incitement We prohibit inciting behavior that targets individuals or groups of people belonging to protected categories. Nope, didn't do that either. 3. Slurs and Tropes We prohibit targeting others with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category. Nope, didn't do that. 4. Dehumanization We prohibit the dehumanization of a group of people based on their religion, caste, age, disability, serious disease, national origin, race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Nope, that didn't happen. 5. Hateful Imagery We consider hateful imagery to be logos, symbols, or images whose purpose is to promote hostility and malice against others based on their race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or ethnicity/national origin. No imagery in this post whatsoever. 6. Hateful Profile You may not use hateful images or symbols in your profile image or profile header. That isn't the case. So, I didn't violate a single one of these rules, but somehow the guy who lied about his nationality, lied about where he lives, used those lies to slander other nationalities, and did nothing but insult everyone who replied calling him out on his lies gets away with it. He must have a friend or something working at X. The censorship on this platform is beyond pathetic.
