How do we fund a 2 day digital art event in an English Cathedral?
It's going to happen, but I'm interested to try an alternative route, rather than chasing an Arts Council grant. I'd like to at least partner with a crypto art platform or something. I know a lot of people that can help me here, but I don't want to distract artists and curators from whatever they're trying to focus on with my annoying DMs.
Anyway, this Saturday we pop into the 900 year old building for a little test run. Get our foot in the door and get a read of the place. 20 digital artists, mostly chain agnostic artisans as well as some young local art students.
It's in a Cathedral for all the reasons you might think it shouldn't be. We really think we can make it work. It'll just take a whole bunch of artists, some very long gonfalon banner screens, a handful of holograms, some very powerful projectors and a good sound system. And in an ideal world,

Free entry to this daytime popup. Out for drinks somewhere random afterward. Here are some tasty JPGs to scroll past on your tiny pocket screens in the meantime.
