This is the next phase hopefully for California! Follow the college schedule of 25 practices in 29 days leading into the week 1 game. First 7 days helmets only. Makes no sense to practice in May/June, stop for 3 weeks and then start again. @GWTrailblazerFB @CifCentral @PAGMETER

Day two of high school football practice in Washington state.
Guess what? We don’t start practice until July 6th. Why?
The kids are emotionally swamped with schoolwork and finals. Summer basketball gets their full attention. And we get their full attention in July.
This all started coming out of Covid and we haven’t looked back.

I find it extremely difficult to listen to a coach at a HS clinic who recruits kids and had a plethora of D1 players on his roster.
I know he has value as a coach, but give me the guy who went 5-5 with a team that shouldn’t have won but one or two games but he COACHED.
