Congratulations @TaydenDockens22 of @athleticselhs on Your Commitment to @waketechbsb About this time every year, just as I'm closing the door on the Senior Class, I always open up my services for a "Last Call." Tayden answered that call and had a very specific goal: "I want to go to @waketechcc" I had already scouted & filmed Tayden earlier in the year in a tight conference game vs Hickory. He came on in relief & shut Hickory down with a low 8s FB and a good off-speed mix to help secure the W. I was really impressed and confident that he was going to profile as a good college LHP relief arm. @ELCoachMatile was also very helpful in providing updates on Tayden, especially on his dominance during EL's deep playoff run. So why complicate things by inundating Tayden w/ options on films, private evals, advising, etc, when I already knew who he was as a solid LHP prospect and could help him get quick answers from the Wake Tech coaching staff. I gave him Coach @dj_russ20's number, sent Coach his films with my notes/films, and gave Tayden some good advice on how to not waste Coach's time in a fast & turbulent recruiting market. Props to Tayden for knowing what he wanted, taking good advice, and not wasting any time in achieving a goal; his quick journey in the Recruiting Process is a trope that HS Prospects can really learn from @MattEll31283173 @rjames0106
