Sustainability from the start!
A new mass timber development is coming to the Dundas and Ossington neighbourhood, bringing nearly 100 new and affordable homes to the community. Before construction begins, a vacant home on the site was carefully deconstructed, an eco-friendly approach that allowed 90% of its materials to be salvaged and repurposed for other building projects across Toronto and the GTA.
Toronto Deputy Mayor and Spadina–Fort York Councillor @ausmalik shares insights into the process.
