The con of GW as a company is that they don't truly care about how easy anything is for new people. Fantasy is harder than ever to get into and 40k is just getting worse with some awful kits and GW making it as annoying as possible to make armies for less popular factions.

A very entry level friendly game that lets you try the game out in a accesible manner will only get more people into the hobby. Playing is just one part of the hobby, painting and building is another. It would be infinitely easier to get your friends into it too

Don't forget that the Spitfire had around 21,000 units produced and the BF109 had around 33,000 units produced which really isn't that massive of a difference given the amount of RAF variants in fighters but also the Spitfire was a far better plane lol
