I said this event was “leveling” and I meant it. It likely started out as a political event in the writer’s room, but quickly pivoted to a redemptive arc for the Thomas’. The problem is, the writing is too shabby to be believable, AND those two didn’t earn it. #BeyondTheGates

I haven’t watched today’s episode yet so I can’t speak on TMG’s performance but it is truly okay for people to not enjoy an actor’s performance. It has nothing to do with a bias towards their character. I’m gonna save my comments regarding you comparing her to Tamara because I fear whatever I have to say will sound disrespectful to Trisha and that will never be my intention but just know that you set her up real bad with that comment. #BeyondTheGates

I have never in life watched a soap opera award show and I'm not about to start now. Apparently they have endless Emmys to give out since every time we see a half way decent scene someone has won one...nevertheless..for me the scenes where an actor has to display raw emotion are the ones that resonate with me but I also have to care about the emotions that the character is feeling. When Anita was fighting cancer, I cared if she lived or died. That and the fact that I have lost 4 family members to cancer so yeah I shed tears. Watching Kat cry today because she was being attacked I felt that because I actually care about the character. So I'm saying if y'all want to praise Trisha's performance do it but for me her tears meant absolutely NOTHING to me. Do I want her or Eva to die. Nope. But would I gaf of they did? Nope. So seeing her cry about her daughter fighting for that life I dc about, it fell flat to me. She sitting there ranting and crying her heart out and I'm laughing half the time and the other half I'm just like "yeah yeah yeah whatever bitch. You done yet?" And I'm not saying the performance was good or bad, just that all it did was annoy me. But now y'all on here talking bout we hate the actress. Where was all that the past 2 weeks when we were ALL ON HERE dragging Ashley saying we didn't gaf? That means y'all hate the actress that plays her? Or is it okay because she wasnt crying over your fav?

As long as nothing is said about the actor/actress on a personal level, nobody HAS to like them or their acting style. Like it’s literally okay for people to preferences in the acting they like. #beyondthegates

Soap rivalries are always best when the writing interrogates both sides. Sam & Liz. Nikki & Ashley. Brooke & Taylor 1.0. Brooke & Erica. But the writing has been so slanted towards Eva since Day 1 and it's no fun watching Kat continuing to be a punching bag. #BTG #BeyondTheGates
