It was my name day the same day Veo 3 launched, and it got me thinking: what kind of film could I make with this tool? People always ask me what a name day is. And the first thing I think about is my grandmother. So this is an ode to her. In the spirit of hybrid filmmaking, I knew I didn’t want it to feel like just a tech demo— I wanted it to feel like memory. That’s why I brought in Elyssia Koulouris to voice the poem, and Sébastien Lefebvre for the sound mix— to ground the piece in real voice and soul. Instead of releasing it as a simple Veo test, I took my time. Because this story is personal. It’s based on my name. On how I feel about my grandmother. And what it means when someone asks: “What’s a name day?” I’m proud to carry my grandmother’s name. I’m proud of the history behind it— and I wanted this to be an ode to all the women who share it. All the Elenis who came before me. All the ones still becoming. We’ve told stories in Greece for thousands of years—through myth, song, prayer, and firelight. How we tell those stories is always changing. But the heart of them stays the same. It’s hard to explain what a name day means if you didn’t grow up with it. It’s more than a celebration. It’s lineage. It’s love. It’s knowing where you come from. I miss you, Yiayia. This one’s for you.

Today @LumaLabsAI launched their new RAY3 model, capable of generating High Dynamic Range (HDR) videos natively. Thrilled to share that I’m now a creative partner with Luma. As part of that, I had early access to RAY3 and spent time pushing it to its limits. Here’s one of my test videos. I intentionally let certain shots run long to see how well fidelity and motion would hold up — and it’s impressive. This feels like the closest I’ve seen yet to true handheld camera movement. The potential here for high-motion, action-driven sequences is huge. #ray3

When @tonypu_klingai from @Kling_ai asked me to come up with and create a promo for the launch of the new Kling 2.0, I was drinking a blueberry juice. I’ll always remember it as the best blueberry juice I’ve ever had. Thank you, Tony, for reaching out and for your incredible kindness. After an intense week of work, I can say this new version of Kling achieves something that will surprise anyone who loves telling stories through cinema. It captures the subtlest nuances of human reactions: the silences, the glances, the unsaid. And that’s just the beginning. This is a tool meant to be explored, experimented with, pushed further, to see how far we can go. A special thanks to my colleague and dear friend @ARisuleo : his positive energy and skills were essential to making this project happen.

Happy to finally share this! I had the chance to work on this Super Bowl spot for the U.S. Secret Service, directed by Michael Bay. I used AI to enhance traditional filmmaking—bringing historical footage to life, restoring archival images, and creating background plates that seamlessly blended with classic VFX and live-action footage. It was amazing to see AI complement traditional methods, pushing creative boundaries while honoring the craft. A challenging but rewarding process, and I’m proud of the result. Veo 2 is insane. Finally got access and holy wow

Hi everyone, its been a min! I'm alive, just birthed a baby (a live action short film) and its taken my all this last month. Was SO GOOD being back on set. More updates to come. In the meantime I got access to Veo2 and I can't wait to play and show you all what I've been cooking :)
