I watched a video of a guy who moved back to Nigeria after 7 years in Canada. He came here for school. His dad di3d. He had no one to pay his fees. His siblings watched him drop out and struggle for 7 years without helping once. He tried everything to stay. The immigration process broke him. He said his first week back in Nigeria was the easiest his life had been in 7 years. We talk a lot about going abroad. We do not talk enough about the people it breaks along the way.

People in MEAL, where do you swear by for a short course in MEAL and affordable? An actual course with certification etc.

This is the kind of reasoning leaders in Kenya carry. How is 'let's get an airstrip so that we can airlift leaders to Nairobi when they need medical attention' a statement that's allowed to fly around?
β€œThere was a time I was seriously sick and had to be rushed to Nairobi by ambulance. I almost lost my life. Meru urgently needs an airstrip so that, in emergencies, leaders can be airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatment"-Former Governor Kiraitu Murungi

This school still has mud walled classrooms and Kericho's governor home is just near the school, let's not even talk of the terrible access road.
A pupil at Ngesumin Comprehensive School in Bureti Constituency, Kericho County has sparked mixed reactions after publicly confronting area MP Kibet Komingoi over the deteriorating state of classrooms at her school during an event attended by senior county leaders. In a video that has circulated widely online, the learner pointed to dilapidated classroom structures, lamenting the lack of windows and proper flooring while urging leaders to intervene and improve learning conditions for pupils.

In western and Nyanza there are hired goons who actually train together in some gyms , it came out as gym people during a research, they are often hired to silence anyone who doesn't support whoever is paying. It seems Barasa Ferdinand is just the same old he was before politics
This is another victim of the HOOLIGANISM that is ongoing in Kakamega County, courtesy of Governor Fernandes Barasa! The other victim who succumbed to his injuries 2 days ago is the governor's own brother Silas Barasa who was attacked by GOONS for not supporting the governor! Such kind of behaviours are slowly taking this country into the drains. We will soon go the Haiti way!

So a Kenyan killed a Burundi hawker, all because he asked for money after the Kenyan took socks from what he was selling. Honestly we are such a terrible people.

Somehow managed to kill a mint plant. I will try and propagate one from 0 instead of buying one because that seems to have been the first mistake.

These are the same people who take waste to summit points @K2grind it's worse
Decades of growth destroyed in minutes. Giant lobelias, some of the rarest alpine plants are being damaged. This is heartbreaking for Kenya’s natural heritage. @KWSKenya @Kenya_Forestry please step in. The destruction of giant lobelias is unacceptable.

I keep seeing several things I want from a couple of shops online based in town but the logistics that is involved just makes one give up. I honestly wish a couple of them could figure out some joint ordering system or such

East African politicians are cut from the same cloth like literally. Using the referee for photos and doing nothing about anything else.
I told our Somali Referee Omar Artan that while his World Cup officiating dream may have been delayed, it has never been diminished. Long before a ball is kicked, he has already won the hearts of millions and secured his place in history. Omar Artan has done more than unite the footballing world, he has ignited hope in every child who dares to dream beyond the horizon. Dreams may be deferred, but they are never defeated. I extend my deepest gratitude to FIFA and CAF for recognizing and believing in his talent, integrity, and dedication throughout the years. For a lifetime, Omar carried a whistle not as a symbol of authority, but as a commitment to fairness, justice, and the spirit of the game. He devoted himself to ensuring that football was decided by merit, yet fate denied him the stage he so richly deserved. Today, I had the honor of hosting Omar Artan, an icon, a role model, and living proof that true greatness is not measured by the matches you officiate, but by the lives you inspire. Omar's journey reminds us all that character outlasts circumstance, and that those who stand for fairness ultimately leave the deepest legacy

Ghai 2026? please arrest everyone involved
Kenyans are calling out MP Vincent Kawaya and the headteacher of Mbaani Primary School for allowing primary school pupils to dance for the MP, something many believe is a relic of the Moi-era tradition that should be left in the past.

The 2 schools along Gitanga road really think they own the road to an extent where they curved off a walking path. It's also quite funny how the road at the school site is way thin than the rest of the road @KeNHAKenya is this road part of your mandate?
