The numbers are in. According to the @NSUARB drivers in #NS will pay a carbon tax of 14.31 cents per litre of gasoline starting on July 1. On July 7, an additional 3.74 cents will be added at the wholesaler level under Clean Fuel Regulations. How will this impact you?

Safety has to be our top priority and that includes stopping all commercial activity until rain comes to get these fires under control. The threat is not over. We cannot afford to lose any more homes or businesses. We need to come together to ensure we get this situation resolved

CXN: Hassett wildfire update (5:13pm): Fire is 111 ha & held (not spreading, but not under control). 26 DNRR staff, 47 volunteer fire dept, 2 helicopters on scene. They will work until dark & return in morning. Barring a major change, see next update here between 8:30-9:30am Wed.
