When you are running late for a flight, you are panicking and rushing
We’ve all been there
Telling the kids or the Mrs to hurry up
“We HAVE to make this flight! No matter what, we HAVE to!”
You’re asking the taxi driver to go a little faster
You’re praying all the traffic lights are green and that there’s no traffic
You’re hoping the flight gets delayed, JUST so you can make it in time so you can spend a week or 2 lounging on a beach
But…
When you’re running late for fajr..?
“I’ll sleep 5 more minutes”
When your wife isn’t praying fajr?
“Oh it’s okay she’ll start tomorrow”
When your kids aren’t praying fajr?
“They have exams, they need their sleep”
Listen bro
Your flight might be delayed by an hour, but the day of judgement will not be delayed by even the blink of an eye
And look at how we panic over the first, whilst we don’t really care about the second
“But we do care!”
If we did, our actions would reflect that
But do they?
Do they really…?
