Do you know that there are 6 levels of automated driving? It begins with level 0 (no automation) where the driver performs all driving tasks. However, warning and intervening systems remain active.

Adaptive cruise control is a function that adjusts the speed of your car to the car in front of you, using sensor systems.
Be aware; you as the driver must continue to pay attention to road traffic while using adaptive cruise control.

Blind Spot Monitoring is a driver support feature that uses sensors on the 🚘to monitor traffic alongside and behind the car. This warns drivers about vehicles in blind spots by notifying them via an audible or visual sign.

With an expected increase of motion sickness due to the introduction of automated driving, Hi-Drive and its partner WIVW was able to conduct a first naturalistic study on open roads in Wolfsburg on board a Level-3-ready autonomous vehicle!

@ValeoDE gave guests a live #Motorway Chauffeur demonstration showcasing #LiDAR vehicle localization and accurate positioning in highway tunnels.
