My Thoughts on Tomorrow’s Supposed Signing of an Iran Agreement:
I’ll believe it when the ink is dry.
One of the oldest tricks in politics…is announcing victory …before you’ve actually achieved it.
Negotiations are fragile. Timelines slip. Last-minute demands appear. Egos get involved.
Maybe a deal gets signed tomorrow. Maybe it doesn’t.
But…if I were betting my own money…I’d wager we hear more about “great progress” and “being very close”…than we do about an actual finalized agreement. Time will tell.
