The scenes in Glasgow last night were disgraceful.
Violence, intimidation and hatred have no place in our city. Those responsible must face the full force of the law.
The thugs seeking to divide Glasgow do not represent our city or its values.
Should people have to dodge illegal e-bikes on our pavements and main streets?
It's a concern that's raised with me time and again across the Livingston constituency.
Henry Nowak’s family have lost their son and brother in the most appalling circumstances.
Nigel Farage is exploiting this tragedy to create grievance and division.
It’s completely unforgivable.
At a time when we need more scrutiny, transparency and accountability, it’s remarkable that stronger oversight of £200,000 of public money was voted down.
That’s what I sought. But clearly the SNP thought otherwise. glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/scot…
Constituents in Glasgow West are rightly concerned after the closure of the last bank at Anniesland Cross.
Too many people now lack access to in‑person banking.
I’ve taken up this issue & welcome the Govt's recently announced review of access to face to face banking services.

Astonishing that @GlasgowCC has voted to deny the @The_SCOTS Freedom of the City of Glasgow, breaking a tradition that Glasgow has had for generations.
Apparently giving organisations Freedom of the City is “inherently problematic” according the Glasgow SNP group.
I hope that @GlasgowCC is able to support the granting of freedom of Glasgow to the @The_SCOTS in their 20th anniversary year.
Well deserved, serving all the people of Scotland.
Another successful canvass session with hundreds of voters spoken to - time and time again voters are telling us they want a change from the tired SNP Scottish Government.
Vote @ScottishLabour for change on May 7th.
ALT Candidate James Adams with Labour campaigners holding placards and leaflets, with trees and tower blocks in the background
Delighted to be joined by @AlistairCarns today in Glasgow Kelvin and Maryhill constituency ahead of polling day on Thursday.
Vote for change on May 7th!
Another positive day campaigning across the constituency - hundreds of voters spoken to and a clear pattern of disillusionment with the Scottish Government, and how Glasgow is run and the need to vote for change.
On May 7th - vote for change with @ScottishLabour

I have been pulled up by a local resident who is concerned about candidates just parroting the party line.
Although, privately, I have questions over their motives.
.@ScottishLabour has a plan to
build 125k new homes 🏠
deliver 9k new apprenticeships and create the well paid high skilled jobs of the future.
That’s the change we need. #bbcdn 👇
“I absolutely get what you’re saying about young people feeling isolated from the housing market”
Scottish Labour’s Jackie Baillie says that her party will build more new homes, and claims the SNP’s pledge to financially support first-time buyer mortgages is a “gimmick”

The antisemitic attack in Golders Green is horrifying.
I know the anxiety, pain and hurt this is causing in our Jewish communities. We stand shoulder to shoulder with them.
There is no place for hate or prejudice.
