What’s a obscure golf course in America that has the raw material and routing to become a Top 100 course with the right architect and investment? A true hidden gem waiting to happen. I’m looking for names I’ve never heard before.

⬇️ This screenshot the best take from the article…😂😂😂 In our mixed groups of riders/walkers…🤔…walkers constantly take hitches up hills, to next tees…(many times WAY too often in 18-holes), AND actually sit in carts to take breaks … 🤔🤷‍♂️😂 With carts (my basics): ⛳️Keep a good look around you to not gas or brake pedal into others around you/your groups ⛳️If in a rider/walker group, go up ahead & identify the walker’s golf balls to speed play (we do it by raising a hand — the walkers are used to it & watch out for it…& it does speed play) ⛳️Park middle way between golf balls to allow both riders to get out & play shots ⛳️Be smart about where you park the cart & try to place it towards the next shot vs having to walk back to get it ⛳️On wet courses: don’t go mudding…keep the course nice by driving around & avoiding obviously wet areas ⛳️Sit all you want…(if you can move the walkers out of the way first 😏) but be ready to immediately play your shot when it’s your turn

Got this text from a friend. "Never up never in" is a VERY bad way to think about putting. If you think EVERY putt needs to get to the hole, I'd strongly encourage you to reconsider. For most players, inside 10 feet, yes, we want basically every putt to get past the hole... and then the farther you get from the hole, the more putts you want to finish short of the hole. This is because as you get farther from the hole, you want to start centering your long/short pattern over the hole. Let's look at what your 50/50 distance should be. To be clear, from this distance (or longer) 50% of your putts should finish short of the hole. 50/50 distance: ▶️0 index: ~42 feet ▶️5 index: ~35 feet ▶️10 index: ~28 feet ▶️15 index: ~23 feet ▶️20 index: ~20 feet
