If a woman chooses to take her husband’s last name, they have no problem accepting that as her new name. They drop her maiden name so hard it becomes a security question.
But a trans person takes a new name, and it’s just SO hard for them to not use the old name anymore.

The single piece of advice I give new managers is “you will get a long way by consistently showing up and giving a damn about the other person as a human being”.
Managers are also human beings, and in good working relationships they get some of that grace in return.

So sad that kids today spend so much time online. When we were kids we were always outside throwing rocks at one another, smoking, lighting small fires, stealing car hood ornaments, shoplifting, trying drugs... one time I drank gasoline.

I accidentally paid for a @noom subscription after doing the trial and not liking it, and it was so easy and quick to get the charge refunded through their customer support chat.
Even though Noom isn’t for me, I respect companies that stand by their product. Kudos!
