A pay rise in line with inflation for ALL public sector workers would cost around an extra £12-15bn.
An annual 1.5% tax on any wealth above £5m would raise £16bn.
We can afford to give people a proper pay rise. The Tories' refusal to do so is a political choice.

Just sharing one of my favourite spelling rules I’ve ever learned…
When knowing whether to start a word with c or k, if it’s followed by a o u it’s a c and makes a little face. If it’s followed by an i or e it’s a k and makes a little kite 😊 e.g kite, keep, cat, cone

Select and retrieve skill:
📗Give the children an extract of text and ask them to provide an illustration to accompany the text
Then they must justify their illustration with quotes from the text.

Themes and conventions:
📚Give the children a photo of all the villains/antagonists from films and ask “What is the same? What is different”
Then do the same for heroes/protagonists. Children come up with a list of conventions for each, both visual and personality/traits
