Been thinking a lot about long-term holding in TCGs. What makes Pokémon so special — and why booster boxes get so expensive — is scarcity. But over the last 5–10 years, more and more people have started holding sealed product. My theory that sealed is always inflationary only holds if demand continues to outpace supply.
