⚾ NORTHERN LEBANON BASEBALL: A HISTORIC RUN WORTH CELEBRATING ⚾ Northern Lebanon’s unforgettable season came to an end Monday afternoon in the 1st round of the PIAA State Playoffs, as the Vikings fell 2-1 to Archbishop Wood in a hard-fought pitchers’ duel. Despite the loss, this was a season that will be remembered for a long time in Fredericksburg. The Vikings finished 24-2, won the program’s first-ever District 3 Baseball Championship, and helped make this spring a special one for the entire Northern Lebanon community. With Northern Lebanon Softball also reaching States and finishing 20-6, the Vikings gave Lebanon County plenty to be proud of this season. Best of luck to the seniors from both programs, and congratulations to Northern Lebanon on a tremendous spring. 🔥 DISTRICT 3 CHAMPIONS! 🔥 Northern Lebanon Baseball has made history. With a 7-1 win over East Pennsboro, the Vikings are bringing home the first District 3 Baseball Championship in program history. What a moment for this team, this program, and the local community. The Vikings have been building toward something special all season long, and on Monday, they finished the job on the District stage. Now, Northern Lebanon will turn its attention to the State Playoffs, where the goal becomes keeping this amazing ride going for as long as possible. ⚾🏆 HISTORY FOR THE VIKINGS 🏆⚾ Northern Lebanon Baseball is bringing home District 3 gold for the first time in program history! Behind a monster performance from Adrian Gonzalez, the Vikings defeated four-time defending District 3 Champion East Pennsboro, 7-1, on Monday at Penn Medicine Park. Gonzalez went the distance on the mound, striking out seven while allowing just one run. At the plate, he drove in five runs on three hits as Northern Lebanon took control early and never let the Panthers back in it.
