Gatorade recently announced Malie 'Moogie' Satete of West Las Vegas High School is the 2025-26 Gatorade New Mexico Softball Player of the Year.
The sophomore right-handed pitcher and catcher led the Dons to a 24-4 record and the Class 3A state championship this past season.

MaxPreps selected Cleveland High School shortstop Anthony Del Angel the New Mexico Player of the Year.
The senior shortstop batted .500, scored 59 runs and drove in 43 to go with 13 HRs, 12 doubles and six triples. He committed to play baseball at the University of Oklahoma.
Gatorade today announced Dylan Blomker of La Cueva High School is the 2025-26 Gatorade New Mexico Baseball Player of the Year.
Blomker batted .395 with 49 RBIs, seven HRs and 20 runs scored. He also went 8-1 on the mound, posting a 1.99 ERA with 113 strikeouts in 53.2 innings.
