Such events highlight the growing violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh and the rising activities of anti-India elements. However, in return, we continue to face repeated insults to our religious symbols, attacks on minorities, and a negative attitude towards India. This one-sided generosity raises serious questions about whether it aligns with India’s national interest. We seek good neighbourly relations, peace, and harmony based on “VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM.” But mutual respect is essential in any relationship. When one side repeatedly hurts our sentiments while the other provides unconditional support, such a policy is not sustainable. We humbly yet firmly request the Government of India to immediately review and suspend all facilities given to Bangladesh including electricity exports, food assistance, oil & petroleum products, trade preferences, and other economic cooperation until the Bangladesh government takes concrete steps to prevent such incidents, ensures the safety of Hindu minorities, punishes the culprits, and adopts a respectful attitude towards India.
