According to the Norwegian Seafood Council Annual Survey, consumers take into account the traceability and sustainability components when it comes to their fish and other seafood products. On average, 70% believe that these elements are very important when choosing their seafood.

#Aquaculture contributed to the growth of fed fish production, which tripled between 2000 - 2017. The demand for fish oil increased considerably from 10% to 58% for global fishmeal use. With such demand, supplies will decrease as prices continue to climb.
