No FAKE news here ... this is life inside a refugee camp ... conditions are grim, only the power of hope gets them through. This CAMP was built originally to hold a maximum of 3000 - currently housing 15,000 people ... go figure!

Looks like Angus Clark and Mark Lampert have been very busy today salvaging tents and sleeping bags from the #StandonCalling Music Festival which will all be going to #Refugees in #France once they have been checked and cleaned....AND NOT TO LANDFILL !!

This team know the meaning of hard graft 💪🔧
Day-in, day-out, the Watershed team work in the blazing sun on the island of Lesvos. They fix taps, unblock sewage pipes, mend toilets & keep showers working. It’s vital work that helps make life for refugees a little more bearable.

My wife was a flight attendant and I was an Army officer in Atlanta in the late 90’s. I used to drop my kids off at a daycare that wasn’t bad and had cameras I could watch online. My daughter was maybe 3 or 4. I started noticing her spirit fading.

Outside Camp Moria in #Lesvos a mother and daughter walk together and the daughter has got one of our Dignity Packs from @Gateways2Life where each child gets to choose a toy to add to the pack. How wonderful is that !?

Just done a quick trip to #Calais with sleeping bags collected by @chwood4refugees and @Together1001 in #Rickmansworth in response to the recent @HelpRefugees appeal. We also took 900 tins of chopped tomatoes, rice, coffee, dates, nuts, wraps and tinned fruit to @RefugeeCKitchen
