Which of these have you done so far on your design journey?

Acton = Success Seeing it this way makes you feel like a winner every time you take an action towards your goals. Stop thinking and do what needs to be done❗

You think too much bruv. "Dumb" people often get richer than the "Smarter" ones. Because they don't think too much. They just "DO" Animals and plants don't rationalize their way out of actions. A tree will grow big and tall as long as it has the potential to. A broody hen will fully commit to sitting on her eggs for 23hrs daily no matter the temptation to seek food. They get a signal and implement immediately no matter what! Bruva get up and go do what needs to be done❗

The only thing that will make me believe Ai is superior is if it becomes telepathic. That means it must able to translate exactly what my mind sees and wants beyond what a prompt can define. And with insane speed too just as I use my mouse on photoshop. Because there are certain color tones and other design decisions I make that I personally cannot define or use a "prompt" for, I literally feel these things and my mind directs my hands till I do something that just "clicks". So yeah till then (and even then) designers will never be replaced❗

Never give a client your price without properly qualifying or understanding the project❗

So you think that client just randomly reached out to you? They have checked other designers, your friends and competitors. They prefer you because you fit their current needs. So act accordingly because you didn't get lucky, you are the perfect fit!

There are sometimes when I am designing and I don’t immediately know what I am doing. I just keep moving elements and sliders around until I get that “ah ah moment” No level of prompt can predict that before hand.

This is business not a hobby. Every single move you make should be strategic. No room for winging it over here❗

I noticed that the more I targeted clients the more designers engage with my contents. I stop chasing to attract designers and tailored my contents to attract clients. I get clients and was still able to build a large following around designers. It's like k!lling two birds with a stone.

Many designers want clients but they subconsciously target fellow designers. This is evident in the type of content you make. You claim to want clients but your post constantly seeks the validation of other designers. The moment you realize this error and change it, the more you start creating contents that targets and attract leads.

If consistency wasn't important then everybody would win at first try. So give yourself a long enough realistic time to persevere. And do what needs to be done during this window. Understand that what you are doing is going to take time. So give it time and KEEP GOING❗

Consistency is probably the most powerful element of growth. It's very subtle, testing your patience. Many people give up when the result isn't showing yet. Some come back after some months and restart the process again. But those who perseveres? WINS! ✨

I usually tell people this If you have been following all the strategies and systems I have recommended on this space You’ll still need to do one more thing: You need to give yourself enough timeline to keep doing the work and be patient before you start expecting results. I recommend a minimum of 5 months.

One of the best way to build an audience is to be intentional about posting. Build systems, structures and strategies around your posting Don’t just post randomly when you like. Posting consistently at specific times helps the algorithm push your content more, recognizing your account outside other “vibe posters”

If you want to build a successful personal brand you need these 3 type of Contents; Growth Contents: Banger post, attractive visuals/designs, etc. Authority Content: Showing how good you are, positioning yourself as an expert. Authenticity Contents: Posting relatable and vulnerable Contents. Many people focus only on growing their audience and making banger posts without attracting buyers. Or only create authority contents to an audience of 10 people ❌ Or create authenticity posts that are vulnerable and relatable, this also gets you followers but without authority content nobody will trust you enough to buy from you. You should do all 3 if you want to attract clients and build a large following.

Knowing how to use fonts is a skill on it's own. And most newbies fail to realize this. When next you are studying a design instead of just focusing on the concepts alone also focus on how the designer used their fonts. This will really help you.

Pro Tip: Typography is so underrated A bad design is easily identified from a bad use of typography. Fonts are very selfish and hates being in close contact with "other elements" Create enough clear space/whitespace around your typography and you'll have yourself a premium looking design✨

It's 2026 you cannot afford to sell just designs anymore❗ The market has shifted You need to sell: - Marketing knowledge - Creative Direction - System thinking -Storytelling - Judgment - Strategy - Taste
