Today we mourn the loss of Katherine Tamminen, a pillar of the SCAPPS community. Katherine was an amazing researcher and President, but more importantly, a dear colleague and friend. Our sympathies go out to all those whose lives were touched by Katherine.

Dr. Joseph Baker (University of Toronto) shared a thought-provoking talk for the Carron lecture titled, “Nature, nurture, noise and nonsense: Unlocking the puzzle of exceptional achievement”. His research encourages us to think deeply about how we view athlete development.
