No offense to President Harrison, but, he is not the reason why we have so many new young converts.
The LCMS under President Harrison has maintained one of the highest convert to cradle ratios in American Christianity, with 1 in 3 LCMS members being converts.
This number is substantially higher than that of both Baptists and Roman Catholics.

I find it funny how most LCMS laypeople/pastors on X would say it would be inappropriate to verbally endorse a new presidential candidate but still make it very obvious who they want in office.
On a side note, I think Dr. Joel Beirmann would do a great job regulating closed communion for our Synod.

I think part of the problem weβre facing is that if you try to have a conversation about closed communion, people will refute you by talking about any other possible topic they can think of so as not to be forced to engage a conversation they have not thought very much about.
