a large problem with discourse is it's being waged on both ends by the most enraged extreme takes possible formed because black/white thinking is rewarded, this then gets baselessly mapped onto entire irl groups.
the end result is endless infighting between minority groups.

most people in general aren't frothing at the mouth bigots believe it or not. most people are normal. they're absolutely not immune from subconscious biases but the ones who dig in their heels on their biases and become bigots are in the minority

all executive wages are typically very inflated due to nepotism, however most CEOs are basically just glorified scape goats for the company if they aren't the founder. if the board makes a bad decision and stocks go down, they sack the CEO with a nice severance.
