Cudnt shuffle much between #bankex & #midcap index. Made quick 1.5% in callratio spread with bearish view. Adjusted to deltaneutral Batman & midcap shooted up taking mtm to -2.10L. Entered 12250 #ironfly & ended at breakeven

Crazy #mtm swing today.. Was bullish if opened flat but due to #gapup entered into call ratio spread & booked 1%. In 1st fall took put ratio & booked another 1%.. Premiums were super good at 2pm so took delta neutral #ironfly mtm swings from 72k to -10k to 65k to -12k to 2L😂

The view was bearish from #gapup & hence shorted 23600 at opening. Made good 1% in 1st few minutes & shifted to 23700CE short in #nifty .... Good day though market didn't fall as expectation

#traders use #hedges because it increases margin & gives safety. Below 2 images gives different picture. R/R of 1:1 in 400pts hedges with smaller breakeven range. This happens when the OTM premiums are high too along with ATM strikes. So dont blindly take hedges

Too much zigzag moves. #mtm swings from 55k to -1.10L to 40k to -45k to 63k. #nifty #premiums were good which enabled to end in green.
