@uonbi, H.E. Dr. Joyce Kithure called for urgent collective action to end lead exposure and safeguard future generations. She commended the University of Nairobi for translating research into real-world change; ‘science must speak to society’s pain,’ she said; and reaffirmed her commitment through the Safe Communities Project, which promotes clean water, renewable energy, waste management, and youth innovation. ‘There is no safe level of lead,’ she reminded all.
