How did we go from "liquid glass is terrible" to "bring it back?" Was this all part of Apple's strategy?

If you’re trying to convince Elon not to move forward with a third party because it could disrupt the GOP, you’re obviously not paying attention to what Elon’s saying.

I’ve always believed Elon was sincere in his convictions — and I’ve dismissed those who say his criticism of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” is just about losing the $7,500 EV tax credit. He’s said many times he supports removing EV subsidies. I took him at his word. 🧵But…

Whatever. Keep the EV/solar incentive cuts in the bill, even though no oil & gas subsidies are touched (very unfair!!), but ditch the MOUNTAIN of DISGUSTING PORK in the bill. In the entire history of civilization, there has never been legislation that both big and beautiful. Everyone knows this! Either you get a big and ugly bill or a slim and beautiful bill. Slim and beautiful is the way. x.com/cb_doge/status/1930658…

I still believe Elon cares deeply about fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability. But it’s hard to ignore how this bill directly undermines a huge pillar of Tesla’s business model. And honestly — this hasn’t gotten enough attention.

That doesn’t invalidate his concerns, the U.S. does have a spending problem, and something needs to change. It’s just food for thought — especially for those of us who admire Elon and want to believe his motives are always rooted in principle. 🧵/end.

I’ve met many leaders, but only a few truly rock the system. Today was one of them… @RealDonaldTrump called him his favorite President @elonmusk praised what he’s achieved for his country Both men have spent hours with him, and other leaders should do the same. President @JMilei is one of our generation’s most transformational leaders, turning an economy that went broke 7 times, had half the population in poverty, was going through hyperinflation, and was stuck in a decades-long spiral of debt, and turned it around within months And most shocking of all: He remains strong in the polls In a world mired in debt, and politicians struggling to take action, what can other leaders and economists learn from the world’s first libertarian anarcho-capitalist? Soon, I’ll share our full conversation.
🇪🇺 NEW MAJOR INTERVIEWS COMING SOON - IS EUROPE STILL A DEMOCRACY? I’ve traveled across Europe interviewing leaders from the left and right. And I noticed a pattern: when the ‘anti EU establishment’ gains momentum, the system seemingly moves to shut it down. And what’s worse is that no country is immune, not even Germany and France! I LOVE Europe, I’ve spent years there, and the European Union is one of the most ambitious experiments in unity the world has ever seen: diverse, historic, idealistic. That’s why it’s so painful to watch it rot from within. The corruption, the fear of dissent, the manipulation of the system… it’s heartbreaking. What are they so afraid of? Major interviews dropping momentarily… Disclaimer: I believe in the European legal system and still think the EU has some of the world’s strongest democracies, BUT these democracies are being challenged, and the systems that allow it to function are being abused.

Thread: Greta’s Gaza Flotilla Fiasco – A Masterclass in Self-Humiliation and Exposure of Possible Links to Terror Networks 🧵: By now, everyone’s heard about Greta Thunberg’s absurd Gaza flotilla flop, starring her and her Soy-Squad. What many don’t realise is that this stunt was orchestrated by those with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Two proscribed terrorist organisations. This needs constant reminding, as too many deluded window lickers have conjured a fantasy version of organisations like Hamas in their heads and paint them as "freedom fighters" or something else that's completely absurd. This thread aims to expose the figures behind this Instagram selfie stunt and reveal how it has more in common with colluding with terrorists than any genuine “humanitarianism.”

iOS 26: Animations are 🔥, but I'm not sold on the liquid glass. The all-clear icons are 🤢. #WWDC25

If they had chosen a more frosted glass look, it would have been perfect. IMO.

TRUMP VS. MUSK: THE OBBBA BUDGET BRAWL THAT’S GOT EVERYONE TALKING 🧵 Picture a reality TV showdown: President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the Tesla-SpaceX-X titan, are clashing over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025 (OBBBA). It’s a budget packed with tax cuts and defense boosts, but it could add $3T to the debt. Trump calls it a job-creator; Musk slams it as a “disgusting abomination.” This fight’s got everyone buzzing—let’s dive in! [1/7]

x.com/DerrickEvans4WV/status… OPPOSITION GROWS—WILL IT PASS? The OBBBA faces a high-stakes Senate battle. Fiscal conservatives like Sens. Ron Johnson and Rand Paul are pushing back. Johnson calls it “grotesque and immoral,” warning of a soaring deficit. Paul says it’ll “explode the debt.” With the Senate vote looming, Trump needs near-unanimous support, but a few “no” votes could sink it. The OMB Director warns a failed bill risks recession, heightening the tension. Will unity prevail? [6/7]

Republican Senator Rick Scott (FL) just announced that he will vote NO on the Big Beautiful Bill in its current form. "The House bill cuts the spending by less than 2% over the next 10 years. It doesn't balance the budget. It isn't even close to balancing the budget."

YOUR MONEY, YOUR FUTURE OBBBA’s tax cuts put more cash in your pocket, boosting businesses and jobs, but Medicaid/SNAP cuts could affect millions, impacting healthcare and grocery access. Debt could hit 129% of GDP by 2034, costing $1.8T in interest. Trump’s growth plan and Musk’s debt fight both aim to secure a stronger America. Check X for memes or Congress.gov for the bill. Who’s got the edge? Drop your take! 👇 [7/7]
