After watching “Sonnie’s Edge” from Love, Death & Robots and playing the game Evolve 2, the concept of piloting monsters as mech-like weapons in combat deeply captivated me. It felt incredibly romantic. I couldn’t stop imagining what a game would be like where you control monsters as if they were mechs— and that’s how the Echidna Series was born.
