Unstable and incompetent x.com/BlueGeorgia/status/204โ€ฆ

Tom Nichols: The president of the United States does not know what he's doing. He's an unstable person and the people below him are incredibly incompetent. His negotiating team is his son-in-law and a real estate developer. The Secretary of State is somewhere. The Director of National Intelligence is virtually invisible.

Earlier today, credible reports emerged, primarily from @_MartinKelly_, that while sailing in the English Channel, the Russian Project 11356R frigate, Admiral Grigorovich, fired warning shots at the British-flagged civilian sailing vessel, Bright Future. Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD) released a statement detailing the incident, saying that Bright Future, who was not sailing under her own power, ignored repeated warnings from the Russian vessel until it came within 150 meters from the vessel. Per the MOD release, at this point the crew used small arms to fire at the vesselโ€™s course, at which point Bright Future abruptly changed direction. If true, and in accordance with initial speculation, the crew of the Admiral Grigorovich acted within the bounds of maritime law. However, the frigateโ€™s tasking is more murky than the incident itself, as she remains on station in and around the English Channel to escort Russiaโ€™s sanctioned โ€œshadow fleetโ€ tankers through a recently enforced UK-France maritime gauntlet.

The deal with Iran will go down as one of the most incompetent ever made. The U.S. lost on virtually every point. We just don't win anymore!

None of this makes any sense, except as desperate rationalizations from a man who cannot face facts and admit defeat. The president of the United States seems to be losing his grip on reality itself. theatlantic.com/newsletters/โ€ฆ

This is known as LOSING A WAR
Trump's defeat in Iran is a stunning display of incompetence -- even more flagrant than George W. Bush's mishandling of Hurricane Katrina two decades ago. noahpinion.blog/p/iran-is-trโ€ฆ

Yโ€™all, not to be a huge nerd but for the reflecting pool you would need a minimum of about 8,000 liters of 12% hydrogen peroxide to reach the 50 parts per million concentration to kill algaeโ€ฆ Is this what happens when you have 0 scientists in your administration?

It's only Tuesday and Trump has fucked up a pool for $14 Million, lost a war agreeing to pay Iran $300 Billion, and ballooned his already expensive ballroom budget by another $200 Million. Where are the Republicans screaming about "waste, fraud and abuse"?
Trump's White House ballroom is no longer projected to be $400 m. It is now $600 m. and taxpayers are projected to pick up half the tab. WaPo with a big report washingtonpost.com/investigaโ€ฆ

Back at those War College places, they make the students read Clausewitz, who described war as "an act of violence to compel our opponent to fulfill our will." I don't see Iran fulfilling anyone's will but their own here.
Replying to @RadioFreeTom
Iranโ€™s top 3 layers of leadership is gone. Itโ€™s Navy at the bottom of the sea. Itโ€™s Air Force and Air defense rendered impotent. Over 30K IRGC / soldiers killed. What does the Fuck victory look like in your eyesโ€ฆthe entire nation vaporised by nuclear attacks?

Trump started a war, lost the war, and paid reparations to Iran.
BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to pay $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly to Iran as part of the deal Pakistan announced, alongside the release of $24 billion in frozen funds with $12 billion released before negotiations even start, per Mehr News. This directly contradicts Trump's & Vance's claim that no funds will be transferred to Iran at all. If Trump denies this is true, there never was a deal. If Trump confirms, the US has fully capitulated to Iran's demands.
