It has nuggets I've never shared publicly before, like when I decided that now was the right time to go independent.

Everyone's freaking out about Europe's new EES border system — so I built a free tool to help you beat the chaos.
It forecasts how busy passport control will be at the 13 biggest European airports, hour by hour, using schedule data.
✈️ Pick your airport day
📊 See the crowds when you land or depart
🛂 Time it right, skip the crush
It's free inside my EES guide 👇

Here’s a new iOS 27 feature that I haven’t seen anyone talk about.
If you have two phones, you’ll be able to move your phone number between phones without setting up or transferring your eSIM.
Carrier support will be announced soon. TBD is this works with Dual SIM.
I *love* this.
The one thing I miss about physical SIMs is the ability to quickly switch between devices.
This will finally (hopefully?) solve this.
Plus, apps, like WhatsApp, will be able to store your number across two devices. Hallelujah.
Confirmed: @Delta is opening a 2nd Delta One Lounge in Los Angeles.
Why? Because it could reclaim the space from the former Virgin Clubhouse and because of the LA28 Olympics.
It'll open in the coming weeks, but then temporarily close later this year for additional renovations.
.@AlaskaAir just opened its nicest lounge yet — and it's not in Seattle.
It's a 14k-square-foot stunner in Portland, and it makes every other lounge in the airport look dated overnight.
Here's a first look 👇
There are no showers, but otherwise, the amenities punch above those of a typical membership lounge.
4 phone booths, two restroom areas, amazing variety of seating.
I toured the whole space — and what it means for the Seattle flagship coming next year.

.@United is adding four new routes.
✈️2 new destinations (St. Croix and Tuxtla Gutiérrez)
✈️2 new international flights (IAD-SJD, IAH-TGZ)
✈️1 new transcon (IAD-SNA)
Love seeing United keep growing the network, even with fuel prices as high as they are.
(Note I reposted this bc I mistakenly listed STX as international.)
.@AmericanAir is suspending 7 domestic routes (for Aug Sept), likely due to high fuel prices.
Most of these are near-transcon length. Interesting that LAX is hit so hard.

American will also end PHX-ANC early.
Amazing news: @AmericanAir is installing free Starlink on 500 Airbus jets starting next year.
The bad news: the planes that need it most — the twin-aisle long-haul Boeing jets that currently feature Panasonic — aren’t getting it.
United just rolled out its fanciest cabin experience ever: the Polaris Studio.
I flew it for 10 hours from San Francisco to London to see if it's worth the $699 upgrade. (Yes, $699 on top of a Polaris fare.)
Here's what I found 👇
The catches:
😬 Studios are at the bulkhead, right by the galley
😬 Wi-Fi is United's slowest Panasonic provider, not Starlink
😬 The bed is just 75 inches long
😬 I already saw wear and tear on a four-month-old jet
Is the Polaris Studio $699 better than the regular Elevated Polaris suite?
